Makeup tutorials

Merry christmas everyone! Hope you are enjoying yourselves. I just want to tell you, that I've started recording makeup tutorials in Danish. However, I will be listing the products I use and a how-to guide in english. So far I've done two, one for blue eyes and a new years look. My internet is rather slow at the mo, so It will take a couple of days befor they are online.

I'm not a makeup artist, nor claiming to have great skills. I just love makeup and thougth I'll share some tips with you. If I can, you can :-)

Hippie glam

Dress from Allenby street in Tel Aviv (60 nis), gladiators from H&M 09 (179 kr.), bag from Zara (bought on sale for 10 euro), hat from Zara male, earrings from Pilgrim, necklace from Shuk haCarmel in Tel Aviv (10 nis) and bangles from C&A (9 euro).

What is always in my purse?

My old leather wallet from Prada, a coverstick from Chanel, pink lipgloss from Chanel, Sea of spa handcream (love it and it's great for sensitive skin), pink iPod nano, my Nokia phone with mirror-effect, my digi cam from Panasonic and last but not least my Kløver vaseline (tip: use it on your lashes instead of mascara).

My 22nd birthday

It's my birthday! Wuhuu! I'm turning 22 today. My family woke me up with the danish birthday song and then we had breakfast and I had gifts (nailpolish from Barry M and china from Royal Copenhagen).

It's never great weather on my bday. Today it's snowing- and no sun, just grey tones. When I turned 18 four years ago, we had a snow storm and my mom's aunt from Jutland wasn't able to get out of her house!!! The rest of the guests came a later.

I'm alone untill my parents and brother are back from work and school. I think I will pack my suitcase for tomorrow (I'm going to Israel) and do a little shopping. Tonight we are going to the cinema and then to a coffee shop afterwards.

Winter notes

Winter

Picture 1-2: Blazer from InWear, skirt from H&M, leggings from kvickly, ballerinas from Vila, bangles from Italy, top with fringes from some russian shop at Allenby in Israel, hat from Egypt, purse from Burberry and the silver heart medallion used to be my mom's.

Picture 3: It's time to get cosy. I don't know the name of the flowers or whatever they are. But they were almost 1m before I cut them. They are lovely as simple decorations at the dining table. Another idea is to cut them so only the flower itself is left. Then put the "heads" in a clear ball or deep plate of water.

Monday outfit

Obviously I didn't pull off a Freja Beha look, as I wrote about yesterday. While I was searching for clothes that would match hers I found a hairband and a flower and had some fun with that instead. I normally never wear the fashionable headband, cause it doesn't flatter me at all. Not everyone can pull it off. But clothes and accessories are about having fun and that's what I had today. Feeling like going to a carneval, I found my dazzling purse from Egypt to make it all the more fun. Guess the black in black-look will have to wait for tomorrow.

Update

The last month or two I haven't been much on blogger due to vacations in Egypt and Israel. I've also used a great amount of time on fixing an application to the university. I hope to get thumps up from the uni to study a year abroad in Israel from 2010-2011. At the moment I'm running around as a maniac to find books, videos etc. to a 20-pages exam. Still not sure what I want to write about. I have untill next week to decide and find the necessary empiri. I'm going to visit the Jewish Museum in Copenhagen today. Hopefully I'll find some usefull things or at least some inspiration there. So stressed out! Hate exams!

The winter is coming

It's getting colder and colder here in Denmark. Yesterday we even had some snow flakes falling down! But even though it's cold, and will be colder, I still dress as if I was somewhere warmer hhhh... At least my parents got me a long wool coat from InWear, that will keep me warm. Haven't owned a propper winterjacket/coat the last 5 years. About time, huh!

Excuse me for uploading more than one picture of the same outfit, but I didn't get the right shot and it was too cold to stand outside in this outfit for a longer periode of time. My summer in Israel

Rainy days can't stop me from wearing my dresses and ballerinas! This is the dress from "Searching for the perfect McCartney dress". Though it's fall, you can still wear your fancy dresses. Just pair them with jeans. Great for a casual, yet classy look.
