Lonely Planet loves Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv came in 3rd on Lonely Planet's Top 10 List of cities in 2011. Well done Tel Aviv! I really love Tel Aviv. I love the constant change, dynamic, vibes... everything about this city. I just went out to buy something to eat, 2:30 am middle eastern time. The city never sleeps. I wish more people would visit Israel, not too many though, would hate Tel Aviv to end up like so mane other middle terrainian cities. But people should experience this pearl, the friendly people, the food, the nightlife (!), not everything is war and terror here.

3. Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv is the total flipside of Jerusalem, a modern Sin City on the sea rather than an ancient Holy City on a hill. Hedonism is the one religion that unites its inhabitants. There are more bars than synagogues, God is a DJ and everyone’s body is a temple. Yet, scratch underneath the surface and Tel Aviv, or TLV, reveals itself as a truly diverse 21st-century Mediterranean hub. Thanks to its university and museums, it is also the greenhouse for Israel’s growing art, film and music scenes.

Lovely Paris

My mom turned 50 on May 20th and she decided to celebrate the day in Paris. We've been there many many times, buit never seem to get tired of the city. Luckely the weather was sunny. But dark clouds and rain wouldn't have stopped us.
The pictures: Le Tour Eiffel, French Macarons, Merci's signature car, The Eiffel Tower, Metro and me and a lovely view from the Eiffel Tower.

Dreaming away...

This time a year is dedicated to exams. Not exactly what you wanna use your time on when the sun is shining, flowers are blossoming and everyone else seems to have a good time going to Tivoli, eating ice cream in Nyhavn or resting with a cold drink in one of the many parks in Copenhagen. I tend to dream away to places I've been or places I wanna go. Maybe you'll dream away too...
