Shorts trend

Nothing says summer like a pair of shorts and luckly they are a must-have this season. The great thing is, that you can use them for any kind of event this summer. No matter what shape you wear, the freshest way to wear shorts this season, is with tops that hit at the hip – whether wearing them at work or for a night out. Pair them with boots, stilettos or gladiators... anything goes. You'll also find shorts in the menswear department. Take a look at Dolce & Gabbana ss09 and Missoni ss09.

  • Shorts for Petite Women
Women with a smaller stature or short legs can create the illusion of longer legs by wearing shorts with a shorter hemline. Don't be afraid of high heels; adding a heel lengthen the legs.

  • Shorts for Tall WomenTall women look extremely chic in a mid-thigh or knee-length short.

  • Flattering Shapes of Shorts
The most flattering shorts sit low on the waist with a narrow, straight leg, but ladies with wider hips and thighs should to choose a wider leg, to minimize the hips/thighs.

Statement piece: Necklace

Draw focus to your look with statement jewelry. Go ultra-luxe with a Erickson Beamon's gold plated necklace with agate and glass marble pendants or go for a fun statement piece such as Lanvin's pink lacquered necklace. Big statement pieces are also seen in Roberto Cavalli's ready-to-wear 09 collection.

Over the top shoe lovers

Like every girl/woman I love love LOVE shoes, but this bathtub from Sicis is a little too much in my opinion. No chance this bathtub will fit in my bathroom. I guess it will fit right into a cool Las Vegas hotel... The bathtub is covered in shiny mosaic stones with pretty floral and ribbon motifs. Let yourself bathe in your favorite indulgence- a pair of shiny high-heels!
