New leopard dress

Oi! What a bargain. I got this dress for only 60 nis (16$)! I found it in a shop in Allenby Street, Tel Aviv. I don't remember teh name of the shop. But if you wanna check the place out, it's on the left site when you come from Sheinkin, in front of a bus stop. It's a small boutique, but I always find something in there.

To make the dress more edgy, I added a black leather belt with metal stars from Designers Remix Collection.

It's that time a year, the time of endless parties. I had my share of it last week when my studies (science of religion) had a christmas dinner plus party at the university. But what do you wear to the parties of the season? Well I'm always going for something dazzling- I love loads of glittery things and think it brings something fun to the otherwise dark and dull weather. Since the dresses are short, I would pair them with high heels and I would wear the strapless with a blazer.

Tunic/Kaftan fashion

Though the summer has left us (in Denmark), I still think you can wear a chic tunic (greek/roman) or kaftan (persian). Pair it with skinny jeans or leggings. I bought my fave kaftan from Izick Design in Israel. I love the peacock colors and gold details. It looks great with a tan, but will also be great under a black blazer and black skinny jeans (black is my wintercolor).

Maxi dress

The maxi dress has become a summer staple. You'll find all the celebs wearing it on and off the red-carpet. I don't think the dress is for every shape and size, shorter people could easily drown in all the fabric, however it's my own opinion, and you will see the petite Nicole Richie looking great in the dress. Wear it for summer weddings or parties or wear it with leather amazone sandals for a more relaxed hippie look. I found one of mine in H&M with flower prints (see pic below).

  If you are tall and slim, any style of the maxi dress will suit you.

  If you are wider around the waist, keep the dress fitted up top with only a slight flow at the bottom. A-line dresses is perfect for your figure.

  Heavier women should choose bold prints and colors. Avoid small prints and light colors so as not to add width and depth to their body.

  If you have a bigger bust, a halterneck or bandeau top are more flattering. Avoid spaghetti straps.

Searching for the perfect McCartney dress

So, I've been looking for a dress like Stella McCartney's (below) for ages. Still haven't found the perfect look-alike, but this is what I've come up with so far. Not bad though. It looks great with jeans and a blazer, just to make the look less dazzling. The dress is from Saint Tropez.

The danish supermodel Helena Christensen looked sexy and classy in her nude paillette covered Stella McCartney dress. To garnish the outfit, Helena wore minimalistic jewelry and nude coloured heels to match.
